Philip Mills

Philip is Business Development Manager at CSIT, the Centre for Secure Information Technologies at Queens University Belfast. Philip has over 20 years’ experience building collaborative relationships with clients and partners in the IT and security domains, including product and solution development, software licensing, consultancy, business development and marketing. Philip previously held technical and business development roles at Singularity, AePONA, APiON and Aldiscon, where he was involved in bringing new products to market, expanding market presence for existing solutions, and driving significant company growth. He has also managed relationships with blue chip clients including JP Morgan Chase, Goldman Sachs, Ericsson, Nokia, Orange and France Telecom. Philip holds a Masters in Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering from Queens University, and a Masters in Computer Science from Queens University in collaboration with the University of Las Palmas, Gran Canaria.

Erik Luysterborg

Erik leads the Security & Privacy group as well as the European Data Protection & Privacy service line. He deals with security and privacy issues related to both traditional (out) sourcing as well as Cloud environments. Erik assists international clients with cross border and practical/technical aspects of data protection. He focuses on designing operational and pragmatic security management solutions and controls effective risk based legal/compliance strategies both in public & private sector.

Aidan Kenny

Aidan is an international expert in service strategy development and management with 25 years experience on both sides of the customer-supplier interface in multiple marketplaces. As Founder of Servitize, Aidan has established a leading service strategy and design business working with the private and public sectors in Ireland and abroad. Prior to founding Servitize, Aidan worked with executive management at Nikon and Intel  across Europe, US and Asia. Aidan was responsible for business planning, business development and extended service offering design, development and implementation. Aidan has been an early advocate for service design and design thinking through his blogs and speaking engagements. Aidan has also worked as a service sector advisor to a number of professional consultancy firms. He has delivered workshops on Service Strategy & Design and has contributed to recently published books including This is Service Design Thinking. He is currently writing a management book on service strategy. Aidan is currently leading the development of a service cluster in the South-East region of Ireland. This cluster is an industry led initiative promoting knowledge sharing and best practice among service providers in the region. It will also create a national focal-point for service innovation and competency.

Claire McBride

Claire Mc Bride is a lecturer in innovation, technology management and entrepreneurship at the Dublin Institute of Technology. She has an eighteen year track record in the technology industry working with SMEs and multinational companies. Claire began her career in product management at British Telecom International in London. She later moved to BT’s European Headquarters in Paris as Deputy Director for the carrier’s relationship with France Telecom. On returning to Ireland, Claire worked on BT’s market entry strategy for the Republic of Ireland and subsequently became Sales Manager for AT&T’s Business Services division in Dublin.  With the expansion of AT&T’s joint venture in Europe, Claire moved to the Netherlands where she was instrumental in spearheading the company’s pan European Call Centre Service, ultimately becoming Product Director. On returning to Ireland she joined Spectel, a conferencing start up in an international business development role. Prior to joining DIT, Claire worked as a lecturer and independent consultant mainly within the technology and pharmaceutical sectors. She created and delivered programmes in the areas of channel management, international marketing and new product development on behalf of a range of indigenous and international organisations including Enterprise Ireland, Select Strategies, Dublin City University, the Irish Management Institute and the R&D Society of Iran.
